Temporary Modular Office Helps Local Community
Central Florida Health Care recently applied for and received a federal grant from the Health Resources Service Administration. In order to keep the funding, they needed to be open and seeing patients before the March 10 deadline. With the time constraint, there was not time to build the full-scale, full-service building that CFHC wanted. So, as a temporary solution, a modular health care clinic was delivered and set on the site of the future building.
Scott Wheeler of The Ledger was onsite over the weekend talking with CFHC Executive Director Anne Claussen about the project. "We did it. It was a push, but we got it done," says Ms. Claussen.
Central Florida Health Care is a community based group of qualified health professionals that provide its citizens with a "one-stop" shop for medical concerns. CFHC provides services regardless of the patient's ability to pay. In order to serve the entire community, services are offered in English and Spanish.
